Some Israelis’ points of view …..

“For the Israelis it is a "separation fence," for the Palestinians - an "apartheid wall." For the Israelis it is an ideal, for the Palestinians an existential threat. For most Israelis it is a magic solution to the dread of terrorism. For the Palestinians it is a profound fear. Once again, they don't understand one another, two nations who don't grasp the meaning of each other's anxieties.” - Gideon Levy – Journalist/Writer

“The Israelis who join the movement must understand that peace can not be concluded without satisfying International law, and obviously without putting an end to the occupation.”

Shai Carmeli Pollak - Film Director  Bil’in Habibi (Bilin my love))

“As we drew towards the Shepherds' Fields, we run into the Wall. It cut into the tender Bethlehem countryside like a colossal devouring maw, and nature disappeared, marshmallow-like. Dozens of Caterpillars were tearing at the hills, uprooting fig trees and vines, crushing rocks for some monstrous Margarita. They demolished old peasant houses and medieval towers, and denuded the slopes walked by the Virgin. The Wall was built like a wide four-lane highway, flanked by 20-feet-high double steel mesh fences, topped with high tension wire, interspaced with cameras, sharpshooters' positions and a few gates. It was the most formidable prison camp perimeter fencing I have ever seen, and it skirted the village houses tightly, like a tipsy tango dancer holds his partner.”  - Israel Shamir – Journalist/Writer
